- What is the difference between this and uptime monitoring?
- JourneyPing includes uptime monitoring. Every site is checked every minute on every plan. The difference is what happens next: it also drives the booking form, the enquiry form and the checkout in a real browser, which is how it catches a page that returns a perfectly healthy 200 while nobody can actually book.
- What does it install on my website?
- Nothing. There is no plugin, no script and no code on the site. Everything is checked from the outside the way a visitor sees it, so an update to the site cannot break the monitoring and the monitoring cannot break the site.
- What do I actually receive when something breaks?
- Which step failed, a screenshot of the page at that moment, and the console output behind it. The same finding is written a second time in plain language, in a report carrying your logo and colours, so it can be forwarded to whoever needs to see it without being rewritten first.
- How quickly will I know something has broken?
